"Ozzy Osbourne. Def Leppard, Motley Crue. Pink Floyd's my favorite."
There was another spontaneous keg and Colonel Sanders party of April 21, 1984.
That and the scrambled, slamming, metal sounds of Judas Priest that filled the gazebo like smoke from a damn bonfire. Their lyrics were great, man, great to listen to when a kid was high. They told a story, man. They told a truth. A kid's really gotta listen to the lyrics, 'cause a kid's really gotta understand the truth. There's a lotta shit out there, but the lyrics of Judas Priest are the truth, man. And when you're sixteen, the truth is where it's at.
He was in the rec room, reading a magazine about deep-sea fishing.
"It's just a few of the regulars. The guys bought a keg of beer and some of the girls made sandwiches and stopped at Colonel Sanders for a couple buckets.

No number on the record or cover. Catalog number taken from insert.

From Andrew Earles' website:

"The Patio Tapes was a 7″ of prank phone calls executed by myself and a cohort who might not want to be mentioned by name but it’s way too late…or early…in the morning to call him up. Originally the third title on my Resort Theory Entertainment label, the 14-minute 7″ contains the notorious “Meat Rendering” trilogy of disturbing and ridiculous calls, plus the “Happy 7th Birthday, Timmy, Keep Your Balls to the Wall!” cover art tie-in call. The latter, successfully-executed idea consisted of calling an ice cream/cake-making establishment and ordering a total head-fuck of a birthday cake, picking up said cake, paying local photog-on-the-scene to capture it in nice detail, making repros of the photo, and including the call on the record. Oh, the photo was hand-glued to the front cover, but I no one seemed to notice the connection. I remember putting these together on the floor of my apartment - some 14-years ago – and thinking that the idea was so brilliant that I’d be forced to repress within a couple of months."

fact070 patio slang - surface politics c60 patio slang is the duo of bryan day on homemade instruments and radio transceivers, and toyohiro okazaki on electronics. recorded in 2012 in various spots while on tour in japan, these pieces go from near inaudible to ear crushing sometimes one track. bryan's set up of homemade gear sounds as impressive as it looks, okazaki's electronics slither in and out of the various plunks and tings weaving an improvised blanket of clatter and hiss.
