Great album . . . partly because I played piano and organ. I worked with Jim for a few years in the 70s. I have always wondered what happened to him. I'm still in touch with Mike Mikulka. I knew Jim had high blood pressure. I doubt that he has survived his physical illness. [email protected]

I came across a Jim Bolden in 2000-2001 in Lakewood, Washington--he was very sick with heart trouble, but a sincere and open man. Great singer, and shared his love of music and the Lord with me and my young missionary companion (I was a Mormon missionary at the time, and he came to a few of our church services, keeping in touch with LDS missionaries for several years). He loved to listen to the Sunday Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcasts, and he introduced me to the summertime delight of chocolate milk & vanilla ice cream floats. As I recall, he felt uncomfortable with the Mormon Church because he was openly gay ("You wouldn't want me in your church," he said one of the last times I saw him). What a great man, who seems to have had a tough run of luck. I lost track of him after 2001.

Hey guys, this is Ar Jaa, Jim Boldens drummer. The last time I actually spoke to Jim was in 1988 and at that time he seemed to be well. I then lost track of him. I still am in contact with Mike Mikulka (guitarist, producer), Jack Ross & Dave Lombard (bass players). Making that LP was a great and really fun project. Mike, Jack & Dave & I were also Jim's touring band known as "MoBetta". Thanks for your interest in Jim...he left a long lasting memory to a lot of people across the land. God bless you all...Ar Jaa

I heard Jim at a Young Calvinist Convention in Claremont, CA. He was wonderful and I have never forgotten him! Had a great picture taken with him as well. I would love to know what happened to him as well - also would love to be able to purchase this album but didn't see it on Amazon. Any ideas on where to get it?
