Frank Wilson. Chris Clark. Do I Love You Indeed I Do is a song and single by American soul singer Frank Wilson first pressed in 1965 on the Motown subsidiary label Soul. It is Wilson's only Motown single and is a prized item among collectors. Approximately 250 demo 45s of the song were pressed in 1965 and scheduled for release on 23 December 1965. Owing to a combination of Wilson deciding that he would rather focus on producing and Motown's Berry Gordy's lukewarm reception of the vocals and wish to prevent his producers. To add salt to the wounds and to confirm facts
The full wide true stereo mix can been found and heard on You-Tube (Northern Soul session at the UK Blackpool Tower Ballroom). If I was label or product manager at UMG I'd get a gun and resign NOW!

This mono pap-crap gaff needs to be finally put right and the full wide stereo mix put out on 7" vinyl a.s.a.p. and the Germany pressing plant has had a 4pin optional centre dinker made then it gets even better!

The stereo mix features
Stings, Horns , backing vocals, left channel Vibes (oh those vibes), Percussion, Piano stabs right channel Frank's vocals centered and left bleed through. Also in this Utopia Stereo mix Frank's Oh Lordy and Come On can be clearly heard.

Don't shoot the messenger just the master tape editors 1. 1979 At EMI Abbey Road for NOT seeking and mastering the Stereo Mix for the fans and 2. 2004 A certain know f**k-all UMG Hollywwod for messing with the tapes, and remixing and destroying a gem and still going ahead with it booking a job, sending those altered tapes knowingly, mastering/metals and vinyl from these poor guys at Optimal Germany, what would they know about this gem, only what you sent them!

Try and hide it, it's what two ignorant parties did, Once heard the Stereo mix just says it all and leaves both the mono and the stereo/mono gaff standing.

Usic
BIG massive point here and needs confirmation ( note Stardust were pants with Stereo pressings over Mono and their labels would state stereo as if this was part of label blank print and not always the facts: I cite Marv Johnson "You Got What It Takes" 100% mono yet the label states Stereo)

Can we confirm by listening the actual sonics Are both these tracks true 100% Stereo OR is it a needledrop/ mastertape rented fromUMG gaff of 1 Channel of the stereo mix as sum mono as UMG did in their vile UK release of the above coupling. Not too much to ask is it?
